Mauro Basilio Aural Pollutions 1 AURAL POLLUTIONS is a series of studies about the noisy backgrounds of our lives; it's a work on low-fi sounds: radio interferences, music from mobiles' speakers and from loud car stereos in the traffic, people's speeches, are captured from the background they're in and ordered and mixed by a cellist-dj who builds the rithmic loops and then plays his instrument on them. AUREAL POLLUTIONS is part of the series of works for "CELLO IN BAD COMPANY", that is "several ways, for a solo cello, to interplay freely with other, non strictly musical, sonorous elements."
